Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported on Saturday that Su Yung had come to terms with IMPACT Wrestling on a new contract. This was confirmed in a tweet by IMPACT Wrestling on Monday, stating that the Undead Bride had indeed re-signed with the company. This adds her back to the already stacked current Knockouts roster which includes Tenille Dashwood, Taya Valkyrie, Jordynne Grace, Neveah, and many others.

Yung, who also portrays the Susie character on IMPACT, first signed with them back in 2018. (IMPACT also shared on Monday that Susie had also signed to a new contract.) Her contact had run out back in March, but they had continued to work together until a new agreement could be reached. The Seattle native was trained by the legendary Bill Dundee and debuted in pro wrestling in 2007. She’s had stints with Magnificent Ladies Wrestling, Shine Wrestling, EVOLVE, Queens of Combat, Pro Wrestling: EVE, Women Superstars United, and more. Su Yung also was a WWE developmental wrestler for a brief period in 2010-2011 as Sonia.

Her time with IMPACT Wrestling and the Undead Bride character has arguably been her most high profile and well-known to date. She held the IMPACT Knockouts Championship in 2018 and has been involved in many ground-breaking and high profile feuds. These feuds include the Undead Realm / Multiverse stories with Rosemary, Allie, Kiera Hogan, and Jessicka Havok. She also has worked with other Knockout stars such as Valkyrie, Tessa Blanchard, Jordynne Grace, and Madison Rayne. Yung also held the Queens of Combat Championship for a record 728 days. With Su Yung locked down for the foreseeable future, we’re sure to see more of the Undead Realm in the future.
