While the world of Big Men has been a staple of pro wrestling since its inception, powerhouses in the world of women’s wrestling is far less prevalent. But that’s not to say it doesn’t exist – we’ve seen the likes of Awesome Kong, Aja Kong, Nia Jax, Jessicka Havok, Faye Jackson, and many more find great success in pro wrestling. One of the brightest prospects in women’s wrestling just happens to be another powerhouse with violent tendencies, who goes by the name of Max The Impaler.

Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Max The Impaler debuted in 2018 with Rogue Women’s Warriors (the sister company for Pennsylvania’s Atomic Championship Wrestling), but really broke out while working with IWA Mid South in 2019, where she would capture the IWA Mid South Women’s Championship on two separate occasions. Honing you craft in a rough and tumble atmosphere like IWA Mid South has helped groom the warrior that Max the Impaler has become.

During her time with IWA Mid South, she faced veterans like Su Yung, Naveah, Thunder Kitty, and Laynie Luck and other rising stars like Alice Crowley and Lady Frost. A true valkyrie in battle, even in defeat, she has been an impressive force of nature.

Last summer, she made her debut with RISE Wrestling, bringing her brand of combat to another promotion, as well as working with Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). But just because she’s a women doesn’t mean she’s confined herself to just facing other women. She’s fought many intergender match-ups, against the likes of Shane Mercer, Mo Atlas, and Brandon Taggert, while facing new talent at OVW like Ruby Raze, Ray Lynn, and former 5x IMPACT Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne.

On February 22, she appeared on the IMPACT Wrestling/OVW co-production, Sacrifice, where she had an impressive victory over Cali Young. She’s also recently paired up with indie veteran Leon Scott, in the tag team the Wasteland Warriors.

An eager learner and imposing physical presence, Max The Impaler has all the tools to be one of 2020’s breakout performers.
