WrestleCon has announced it’s official schedule of shows for WrestleMania weekend and one of the names that has jumped out to us is Toyko Joshi Pro Wrestling (TJPW). TJPW will be running on April 3rd at the Ritz in Ybor City.

For those unaware TJPW is a sub-brand of DDTPro that is dedicated to Joshi pro wrestling. Its roster includes the ultra-popular Maki Itoh who holds the International Princess Championship, the talented ace Miyu Yamashita, Tokyo Princess Of Princesses Champion Yuka Sakazaki, of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) fame, Shoko Nakajima and many more.
With Joshi gaining worldwide attention thanks to promotions like AEW and Pro Wrestling: EVE featuring talent from Stardom, Gatoh Move, and TJPW it is a big step for TJPW and it’s talented roster. At 2019’s DDT Coming To America show we saw a TJPW offer match as Maki Itoh faced her rival Miyu Yamashita and the match impressed the audience and many first time viewers.
While they have not yet announced who will be coming to participate in the show this is guaranteed to be one of the best shows of WrestleMania weekend as they bring their varied cast of characters and performers to America for the hottest weekend in the independent wrestling calendar
