Crown Jewel can finally come and go and these shows may get back on track. Monday Night Raw was a go-home edition live from St Louis, MO. Going into the night, the big match was a Falls Count Anywhere bout between Universal Champion Seth Rollins and Erick Rowan. Captivating. Here are the highlights.

Asuka and Kairi Sane overthrow Paige to kick off RAW

Raw kicked off in a surprising manner as Paige stepped out onto the stage and seemingly reminded everyone that she was the manager for The Kabuki Warriors. She walked down the ring to say how proud she was of the team she formed as they stood there as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, Asuka grabbed the microphone out of the hand of Paige and said something in Japanese, as Kairi Sane did the same. Paige was stunned, turning into the face of Asuka who would spit the green mist into the eyes of Paige. Becky Lynch would head out to make the save and eventually lead to her and Sane’s match, but it was not so shocking to see Paige be outed as The Kabuki Warriors have shown their effectiveness with their new edge, leading to their being champions.

Note: it really seems that we are headed for an Asuka vs Becky Lynch match for the Raw Women’s Championship. Asuka is the last women to beat Becky in a championship match, earlier this year at the Royal Rumble.

Move of the Night: A decapitating RKO to Ricochet

With how tiring Raw has been as of late, here is to introducing a new highlight, which is the move of the night. Not every Raw will have a jaw-dropping finish, but tonight’s Raw sure did. As Ricochet closed in on defeating Drew McIntyre, he’d miss the 630 Splash, leading to Randy Orton slithering in and hitting an RKO out of nowhere, one that was absolutely devastating and led to Ricochet being out cold. Humberto Carrillo comes up short against AJ Styles

Humberto Carrillo is one hell of a talent. Unfortunately, he is still win-less on Raw after facing the brand’s possible best two straight weeks in Seth Rollins and AJ Styles. Carrillo did all he could to win but was hit with a loss following a Calf Crusher. But what Carrillo does continue to do is give an impressive showing after impressive showing. The man is becoming a fan favorite quickly which only bodes well for his future. Following the match, Styles attempted to shake his hand before faking. This would lead to a Styles Clash and The OC attempting to put down more pain prior The Street Profits making the save.

Raw was a mixed bag, as Crown Jewel must come and go before this new roster can really get going. Buddy Murphy moved to 2-0 on Raw however, so it’s good to see he is climbing up the ladder. The next two nights should feature some great wrestling to get the sour taste out of wrestling fans mouths.
