At an NXT House Show from Orlando, Florida tonight, Tegan Nox returned to the ring for the first time since August 9th, 2018. She returned in tag team action as she teamed with Jessi Kamea to take on Aliyah and Vanessa Borne. Nox would get the pinfall victory in her first match back and would have a huge smile on her face as she celebrated the victory.

For those who don’t know, Nox suffered a horrific leg injury last year in a Quarterfinals Match in the second Mae Young Classic. She was facing Rhea Ripley when she went for a Suicide Dive to the outside onto Ripley, injuring her leg on the landing which resulted in her being out for all this time. What is even more incredible is she continued to fight on as she felt she had all to prove after being injured the year prior and completely missing the first Mae Young Classic. The referee would eventually call off the match and we haven’t seen Nox since as she was at home rehabilitating.

“The Girl with the Shiniest Wizard’s” return to the ring is a bright moment in wrestling today and just adds to the already loaded women’s division in NXT and NXT UK. There had been rumors of her possibly being slated to win the Mae Young Classic last year prior to her injury, leading to the huge win for current NXT UK Women’s Champion, Toni Storm.

No matter what brand she participates for, Tegan Nox will be a massive star. Her incredible ability in the ring along with the overall great attitude she brings day in and day out will allow her to take the black and yellow’s women division by storm. Congratulations are certainly in order for the 24-year-old out of Wales, as we hope she remains healthy and shows the world what she can do inside the squared circle.

If I am Rhea Ripley, or the entire NXT Women’s Division for that matter, I’d keep my eyes open as Tegan Nox is ready to leave her impact and show the world what “The Girl with the Shiniest Wizard” can bring to the table.
