IMPACT Wrestling returns to Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Sunday night for Rebellion. Rebellion replaces last year’s April PPV, Redemption, and returns to The Rebel Complex, the site for last year’s Slammiversary. It will feature a special live edition of Scarlett Bourdeaux‘s Smoke Show, plus a string of great match-ups coming out of an emotionally charged set of shows from Windsor, Ontario.

IMPACT Rebellion Pay Per View Preview
The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) vs. The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander) & Moose
Moose has been having his issues with the three members of the Rascalz, ever since he tried to crash their “sessions” only to be ridiculed. He’s faced them individually, but on Sunday night he’s facing all three of them in a 6-man tag team match. He’s joined by one of the new tag teams in IMPACT Wrestling, The North, that reunites the duo formerly known as Monster Mafia, “All Ego” Ethan Page and “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander. The North are former Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) Tag Team Champions and have a long history together, and along with Moose, will pose a formidable threat to the Rascalz.
IMPACT X-Division Championship: Rich Swann (c) vs. Sami Callihan
The war between X-Division Champion Rich Swann and his former friend Sami Callihan reaches its boiling point on Sunday. After months of trying to recruit Swann into oVe, Callihan has shifted his focus. After failing to win over his former friend from the early days on the indies, he’s now got a simpler mission. Destroy Swann and take his title.
Tessa Blanchard vs. Gail Kim
Tessa Blanchard has very few friends in IMPACT Wrestling, as her obsession with being the top Knockout has turned the entire women’s division against her. But over the past few months, it’s also made an enemy of producer Gail Kim, who has tried repeatedly to teach Tessa some respect for the ring. But Blanchard’s brash approach has finally pushed Gail Kim to do something we never thought we’d see – end her retirement so she can get Tessa in the ring herself. An intergenerational dream match, as IMPACT’s 7x Knockouts Champion Gail Kim returns to the ring for the first time since February of 2018, and first time back in an IMPACT ring since 2017’s Bound For Glory.
Full Metal Mayhem for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships: Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) (c) vs. LAX (Santana & Ortiz)
What started out as a friendly rivalry between wards of Konnan has become one of the most heated tag team rivalries of the year. The Lucha Brothers finally defeated LAX for the IMPACT World Tag Team titles in Mexico in February, but they’ve continued to battle, not just in IMPACT, but around the world, including battles in All American Wrestling (AAW), Bar Wrestling, House of Glory (HOG), PWG, Wrestling Revolver, and most recently, over in the UK with Fight Club: PRO in England. On Sunday night, it all comes down to one more match for the IMPACT tag team titles, but this time the stakes have never been higher. It’ll be contested in a Full Metal Mayhem match, which is essentially IMPACT’s version of a TLC match – metal chairs, ladders, tables, and anything else that’s made of metal are completely legal for this war.
IMPACT Knockouts Championship: Taya Valkyrie (c) vs. Jordynne Grace
Jordynne Grace has been on a mission since arriving in IMPACT Wrestling last October and has run riot through the Knockouts division, with victories over Katarina, Ruby Raze, Allie, Su Yung, and Tessa Blanchard. Undefeated in singles action, she earned a Knockouts title match against Taya Valkyrie at Against All Odds in March. While she defeated Valkyrie, it was via Count Out, so the title didn’t change hands. She then faced a returning Madison Rayne for the #1 Contenders spot again a few weeks ago, continuing her undefeated streak as she now heads into Toronto on Sunday night with gold on her mind.
IMPACT World Championship: Johnny Impact (c) vs. Brian Cage (Special Guest Referee: Lance Storm)
Brian Cage has always been a determined competitor since arriving in IMPACT in January of 2018, proving his abilities by winning the IMPACT X-Division Championship last summer. This January, he cashed in his X-Division title using Option C to face his friend Johnny Impact for the World title at Homecoming in Nashville but came up short. Since then, Impact has shown his true colors by turning on Cage, and his trickery continued into recent weeks when IMPACT senior official John E. Bravo took out Cage during a tag team match up, allying with the World Champion. To make sure the officiating remains neutral, IMPACT has brought in former WWE, WCW and ECW Superstar Lance Storm to wear the black and white stripes, as Cage comes after Impact’s World title with a vengeance.
