As mentioned by Triple H in media conference calls over the past week, the WWE is looking to bring in new people to work backstage in different capacities, such as working in creative and working as producers or agents backstage. Last week, longtime IMPACT Wrestling personnel Chris “Abyss” Parks and Sonjay Dutt left IMPACT for roles within the WWE, and PWIndsider is now reporting that two former WWE Superstars will be joining the company and debuting backstage tonight at Monday Night Raw – alongside Dutt – to begin their new roles as producers and agents. The two new members of the Raw production team are former 6x WWE Intercontinental Champion, 4x WCW World Heavyweight Champion and 6x NWA World’s Heavyweight ChampionĀ Jeff Jarrett and former 2x WWE Cruiserweight ChampionĀ Shane “Hurricane” Helms. Another source has indicated to us that another former WWE Superstar, Shawn Daivari (brother of 205 Live Superstar Ariya Daivari), has also joined the company in a road agent position.

IMPACT Wrestling founder Jeff Jarrett made a shocking return to the WWE Universe last year when he joined the 2018 Class of the WWE Hall of Fame and lent another surprise moment this past Sunday when he appeared in the 2019 Royal Rumble as an unannounced surprise entrant. Jarrett entered in the number two position and lasted just over a minute, but it appears his WWE stay will last longer than that. It marked the first time Jeff Jarrett has appeared in a WWE ring since he lost the Intercontinental Championship to Chyna in October of 1999. No word on how his new WWE contract will impede on his appearances for AAA in Mexico, where he’s a former 2x AAA Mega Champion and has been feuding with Dr. Wagner Jr. the past year.

Hurricane Helms has remained active on the wrestling scene since departing the WWE in 2010, working for indies such as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), Carolina Wrestling Federation (CWF) Mid Atlantic, House of Hardcore, and more, as well as a stint with IMPACT Wrestling in 2017, where he lead the faction The Helms Dynasty (which featured OMEGA recruits Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett) and also worked in a backstage producer role. He’s also been an active wrestler for Ring of Honor in 2017, last wrestling at ROH Honor Reigns Supreme two weeks ago. He also made a surprise appearance in the 2018 Royal Rumble to one of the loudest pops of the night.

Shawn Daivari has also remained active on the indie scene since departing the WWE in 2007 after four years with the company. He spent three years with IMPACT Wrestling, competed with All Japan, Ring of Honor, and many more, as well as opened a wrestling school in Minnesota with former WWE/IMPACT star Mr. Anderson/Kennedy. He made a brief return to the WWE last year for The Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, where he joined his brother Ariya in a segment in the ring.
