Remix Pro Wrestling in Marietta, Ohio may not be an indie promotion many have heard of. Although they’ve been around since 2010, they aren’t as well known as other Buckeye State promotions like Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), Rockstar Pro, or Cleveland Pro Wrestling. But this smaller indie promotion is still capable of some big-time matches. And they announced two doozies this week for their April 20 event The Vision.

Huge Women’s Fatal 4-Way

First, they announced a massive fatal four way featuring four of the biggest women’s indie wrestlers in the world. Kimber Lee is an 8-year pro who made history as the first woman to win a men’s major singles championship, capturing the CHIKARA Grand Championship in 2015. A veteran of CHIKARA, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), SHIMMER, Beyond Wrestling and more, she’s also the reigning All American Wrestling (AAW) Women’s Champion. She had a short stint in NXT under the name Abbey Laith. Sydney, Australia’s Shazza McKenzie has been wrestling since 2008, and the veteran superstar is a regular with Pro Wrestling Australia (PWA), where she’s a 2x (and reigning) PWA Women’s Champion. She’s also a longtime wrestler for SHIMMER (she held the Heart of SHIMMER Championship for 281 days), RISE, Shine Wrestling, and House of Hardcore in the US. She’s also worked several episodes of NXT. Penelope Ford broke out in 2014 from the CZW Dojo and broke out in 2017 with Beyond Wrestling, Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), Shine Wrestling and more, as well as forming the tag team Janelope with Joey Janela. The “Bad Girl” also made news recently, signing on with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Chicago’s Kylie Rae is a face to watch in 2019 and she exploded last year as one of the new emerging superstars of the US indies, with AAW, RISE, Beyond Wrestling and her hometown Freelance Wrestling. She also had her first tour with Stardom in Japan and is a regular with Booker T‘s Reality of Wrestling.

Next, they announced they’d secured one of Lisa Marie Varon‘s final matches for her 2019 farewell tour, as the former Victoria in the WWE and Tara in IMPACT Wrestling, announced this week she was retiring at the end of the year. She’s facing the very first woman she faced with IMPACT in 2009, former 5x IMPACT Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne. As Tara, her first real feud in the former TNA was against Rayne and the Beautiful People, and the two fought over the Knockouts title on a couple of occasions.
