One of the rising stars of North American indie wrestling scene, Salina de la Renta will see action in her home country, Puerto Rico. Ironically, Salinas will be wrestling in the town of Dorado, the same place that her Promociones Dorado is located.
Salinas will be wrestling for Championship Wrestling Association (CWA), the number two company in Puerto Rico. The show will be Halloween Fan Fest 2018, in it, she’ll be managing the CWA Intercontinental Champion Maxx Stardom (whom she also manages with Major League Wrestling (MLW) in the US). This comes at a time that CWA has been getting a lot of international stars to wrestle with them, especially female star.
Salinas de la Renta studied in Carolina, Puerto Rico, going to private schools like Saint Francis and Colegio Bautista. She would later move to Florida. In the sunshine state, Pro Wrestling 2.0 would end up being her home. PW 2.0 is a training facility where Santana Garrett is the head trainer, alongside Mecha Wolf 450. Salina wrestled all over Florida and at one point, and was scheduled to wrestle in Ohio. Her big break came with Major League Wrestling, as the diva manager who controls stars like Pentagon Jr., Rey Fenix and now Low Ki.
Salinas managing Maxx Stardom will be a plus for the company that in December will be crowing it’s first women’s champion. The new championship will be contested between US indie sensation Tessa Blanchard and Mexico luchaora and 2018 Mae Young Classic competitor Zeuxis (who hails from Puerto Rico). Stardom will get a much needed manager to his persona. He didn’t bring notable traits of personality, although his wrestling was solid. Salina as a collaborator will sure add some good heel atmosphere and legitimacy to his reign as Intercontinental champion. It’s unclear who Stardom, alongside Salina de la Renta, will face, but it has already created a good buzz for CWA. The company keeps adding name value to their company, with a upcoming big show in the Puerto Rico Convention Center.
