It’s that time of year. Gifts are the topic on everyone’s mind, but what do you get for the wrestling fan who has everything? Well, we here at Last Word On Pro Wrestling have a few ideas, from the extremely practical, to the ridiculously absurd.

If you’re looking for gifts for someone, and you know they’re into professional wrestling, odds are, they already have the WWE Network. But what about other streaming services? Is your scuffling sweetheart looking to expand his or her horizons? If so, I’d highly recommend the High Spots Network. Is it maybe your more light-hearted friend? Well maybe CHIKARAtopia is right for your friend. Or perhaps your local indie’s streaming service. Of course there’s always NJPW World if they are looking to see what all the fuss is about with this Kenny Omega or Kazuchika Okada guy.

There are only so many hours in a day to watch wrestling though. What about household items? Well, for the more domestically inclined fan, there is this great salt and pepper shaker set. If drinking is preferred over eating these bottle openers should be just fine. Once your liquid is open, you can drink it from your Macho Man Randy Savage big sip cup.  If the meal is on the go, you can always purchase this AJ Styles lunchbox. That way everyone knows they don’t want none… of your sandwich.

Sticking with the food themed gifts, you can still find WCW napkins and plates. Though dated, these are at least reasonable examples of merchandise. With children’s birthday parties, these serve a practical, highly marketable items. WCW Nitro the scent however, not so much. Not to be outdone, the (at the time) WWF had Attitude cologne, however there do not seem to be any bottles available.

Perhaps your friend is looking to become a wrestler. If so High Spots has you covered. Everything from head to toe you need to look the part is available. From boots, to kickpads, to masks, they’ll do their part to make sure your gift recipient looks the part. You might want to package some of those items with a gym membership though. They also sell wrestling rings and title belts if you’re looking to skip the middle man and just start your own promotion.

If your friend is anything like me, nothing beats the live experience of professional wrestling. I’d recommend seeing if any of the larger promotions are coming to your area on tour any time soon. Or search for a local independent promotion. With a more intimate environment, and most likely a lower price tag, an indie show can be the best thing about pro wrestling. On the other hand, the spectacle of a WWE show is an experience few live events can compare to.

If all else fails, you can always browse Pro Wrestling Tees. Odds are the person you are shopping for has posted about a wrestler on social media. If that’s the case, that wrestler probably has a store on the site. Unless the wrestler has their own merchandise site, this is most likely the most direct way to support the wrestler, short of purchasing from them directly at a live show.

The most important thing about the holiday season is spending time with, and appreciating, the ones you love. If coming up with presents for people has been a bit stressful, hopefully this has been helpful. Or provided some entertainment value. I hope you enjoy your holiday season.
