A few days ago, we announced the initial details of the inaugural Pro Wrestling World Cup being held in the summer in the United Kingdom, hosted by WCPW. Out the gate, the eight men competing in the England qualifiers were announced, as well as news that Canada’s qualifying tournament would be held in Toronto in conjunction with SMASH Wrestling, at the Phoenix Concert Hall (date and entrants still to be announced). Since then, more details have been announced.

1. The Announce Team

All of the action for the Pro Wrestling World Cup will be done by WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross and Lucha Underground‘s Matt Striker. No word if they’ll be doing the qualifying tournaments as well.
